I feel like having all this discourse about individually boycotting corporations just makes it confusing for ppl and less effective. Like I feel like the idea should be don’t shop from any large corporation as much as you can, shop local and second hand as much as you can. Telling ppl they need to boycott something like a chain grocery store that may be the only option in their area just makes ppl feel like they are shamed and have a negative reaction. Like I feel if you worded this like we need to support local businesses & shop second hand bc we don’t want our $ leaving our communities even someone MAGA would listen/agree

i posted a vid that i was boycotting elf and what are alternatives to their products i use (bc i work in cosmetics/skincare and want to use ethical brands) and everyone was like HOPE UR BOYCOTTING MCDONALDS FOR KILLING INNOCENT CHILDREN!! like yes babes that is also awful and i don't eat there but that's not the point of the vid here!!! 😭😭

I don’t boycott. Every major brand in the US ties back to the same parent companies or reportable share holders. The money goes to the same place!
