@yourpalliativepa: Nashville- not quite what I expected for some reason. I guess I should have expected it to be all bars and loud music it if I were thinking literally, but most cities also have some other things!! Ok there were some other things- we loved the old towne trolley tour, the children’s science museum, and the mall at the Grand Ole Opry, but otherwise- I don’t really need to go back! Also not much for kids to do which made it really hard to be stuck in a hotel room sometimes. Let me know your favorite kid friendly vacation spots!! Always looking for new adventures. #kidfriendly #vacation #nashville #MomsofTikTok #toddlersoftiktok
You could have taken them to Nashville zoo, Cheekwood, The Frist has an entire floor dedicated to kids, the state museum is free and is attacked to the farmers market. The are several acades and pinball places to visit. Oprymill and Opryland both have kids friendly attractions, Murals all over, East Nashville is packed full of things kids can do and is walkable. McKays bookstore is endless. Lots of tours the kids can be on. Soundwave, Nashville Shores and Wave country. Tree top adventure Park. Nashville's Children Theater. The Nashville library is a great visit if you have kids. The Play Payground, The Ryman. Walk of Fame Park. Plaza Mariachi. Grand Old Opry. Shelby bottom nature center. Assembly food hall. Country Music Hall of Fame. and on and on and on ...
You choose to go to Broadway with is soley bars and music. Nashville tourism go further than one street. You picked adult activities. That doesn't mean Nashville isn't a place for kids.

Nashville has amazing parks! Radnor, Edwin Warner, Percy Warner, long hunter state park, dragon park. Nashville isn’t Broadway.

You should clarify you did not go to Nashville you went to Broadway - Nashville and surrounding areas are lush and beautiful and very family friendly. Broadway not so much

I live in Nashville. It is a mini Vegas. It’s a party town…not kid friendly. To be honest….i have live here all my life and I miss the old Nashville. I hate this new shit show of the bridzillas and drunks. My neighborhood bars have even been invaded.

Honey you didn't Google parks if you didn't get Centennial Park which is definitely not a little patch. Also Broadway/downtown isn't meant to be kid friendly. As a Nashville native I am appalled when people do 0 research.

Should have googled before you visited. Staying at the Gaylord, using the water park they have, the science center, going to another like for kids, the art museum. But yes, coming to Nashville and staying close to Broadway with kids for a week is probably not a good idea.

I live here and have all my life, I hate Downtown Nashville! We use to have Opryland USA Theme park until they ripped it way from us and built a mall.

Hi I have two kids born in Nashville, there is plenty to do for kids but not on Broadway that is the entertainment area for adults, we have a zoo, water park, loads of real parks with hiking and playgrounds, the zoo actually has the best playground, a science center and children’s theatre just for a few ideas

Not do any research at all? Genuine question because I’ve never heard of Nashville being like a family small kid friendly place. It’s literally like an adult playground. You would need to go to like any of the outside or surrounding cities like Franklin that would be more friendly from what I’ve seen.

Why would you think it was kid friendly. It doesn't market itself as being kid friendly. It's literally like the Las Vegas of the South.

The Adventure Science Museum is pretty neat. The zoo is also pretty cool too depending on the exhibits. If anyone is into baseball we also have the Nashville Sounds and it’s pretty cheap for tickets.
