So make your wheels gummy and sticky, keep track of your mentos, and use a zip tie that the TSA will cut off out of principle.

Tape so wheels will not make noise. Airtag so you can find it. No one will be able to unzip it to steal from it. And you will easily recognize it is your bag because of t-shirt.

imagine the embarrassment, as your wheels skipping and dragging, leaving black skid marks all over airport floor, with electrical tape strips trailing on behind wheels, and someone in a crowd laughing and saying "did you put electrical tape on your wheels????"🤭😁😂

That electrical tape will get so worn and sticky, then residue from that sticky stuff will attract dirt. This is not good idea , sorry.
