How on earth are people confused. Paying $500 a month on a financed bike is normal, when you ask for a loan at the dealership you can adjust your monthly payment. The less you pay the more interest they’ll want to add unless your credit is very good. But you can also choose to pay more than your normal monthly payment to have less overall interest and to just pay it off Sooner. If you pay more than you owe each month then that gets added on to next months bill in case you for some reason can’t pay it then you aren’t feed for a late payment. Racking up a bunch of these early payments can be a really good back brace for the future in case you find yourself not being able to pay the minimum one month. As for insurance yes it’s very cheap I pay $110 a year and I have an aunt who pays $75. It all depends on your years of experience, what you use the bike for and how old you are. (Along with whether it’s owned or financed) I got quotes from multiple insurance companies but in the end progressive was $100 cheaper than all the others.
