@zahraakxo: 📍@eat_smacks, Cardiff 🍔 @smacks_cardiff I’d been really excited for the opening of Smacks in Cardiff so when I was invited down to give them a go, I had to say yes with how many good things I’d heard about their other branches. Unfortunately it just didn’t live up to the hype for me. The chicken burger was really good, I’d recommend adding cheese though! The tenders and bites were fried way too quick, so the batter was coming off so I didn’t enjoy these. The desserts were delicious but can you go really go wrong with a Mr Whippy? The restaurant was a little messy, with a lot of dirty tables and food on the floor too. The staff were really nice in all honesty and they were insanely busy so you do have to cut them some slack. Overall, it was a decent spot but in my eyes, at the moment, it doesn’t stand out to me in comparison to some of the other spots we have in Cardiff. With a little bit of work, I can see them doing well in their location but I do think the food and cleanliness needs a little work.
