yes take a cross state trip, hit up the finger lakes, watkins glen (too hike and walk the gorge and see all the waterfalls they have, letchworth park, and then over to Niagara Falls. 🙂

Omg did you say swimming costume?! When I was a kid, I had a Girl Scout camp leader who must’ve been British because she said “ok get your swim costumes!” And I’ll never forget it bc I thought it was cool I cute, lol she also called a flashlight a torch.

If you want to do something in the area more history-focused, go to Fort Ticonderoga in Ticonderoga. The fort was occupied during the French and Indian War and the American Revolution.
