A tip to save on slides: you can read up to 3 specimens properly spaced apart.

sometimes acetic acid affects the presence of crystals, a tip i learned is you can place another cover slip riiiight next to the other and it reduces the amount of objects per FOV, cant use it for manual counting of cells but allows for the discovery of crystals without destroying them
