Think about our childhoods: boredom wasn’t filled with iPads or quick fixes. It was filled with… “I wonder what I could do,” or “I wonder what I could build.” And wonder comes from boredom. So what do you do when your kid whines that they're bored? Well, our job isn’t to fix it. It’s not to make the whining stop. (Even though whining can be so triggering!)
