@dailymail: Japanese researchers have claimed to have found a way to weaken or erase learned motor memories. The process is described as a blue light therapy that when activated and targeted on certain brain connections, can shrink ‘memory’ spines enough to erase singular memories while leaving others unharmed. It is believed that if these tests are accurate, there is a possibility it can be used to erase unwanted or traumatic memories in a patient. What do you think? #dailymail #news #memories #Science
Motor memory is not explicit memory, thus not semantic or episodic memory so I find it interesting to say that it can erase patients memories

So I don’t get it… our brains naturally attempt to black out negative memories to help us move forward but therapists say you need to re surface them to deal with the trauma but now it’s gonna be ok to pay to have them erased which is what my brain was trying to do anyway? So they’d profit off of something they told our brains it’s bad to do. 🤨🤨🤨
