Skip Napa and Sonoma and come to Livermore. 2 of longest running family owned wineries I the state, and a lot less pretentiousness.

How do you know someone is not from wine country fr? Napa doesn’t compete with Sonoma, they complement each other. Be an ambassador and instead of throwing dirt at Napa highlight the options at each of these two beautiful wine country regions to match the destination with the right audience.

Merriam in Heaaldsburg is owned by a really nice man who told my friend and I that he was so happy to see young people there! He said to drop by anytime to have lunch on the property even if we couldn’t buy a bottle. And his staff were our favorite in town. Can’t wait to try more spots in Sonoma off this list!
