No creeds, no councils - only covenant. • 325 CE – Nicaea – Constantine called bishops together to settle disputes. A creed was written, declaring doctrine by decree, not by Scripture. • After Nicaea – The Catholic Church was officially born. From it flowed the branches of what we now know as Christianity: Eastern Orthodoxy, Roman Catholicism, and eventually all Protestant denominations - Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Anglican, Pentecostal, Evangelical, and more. Even Islam and other systems drew influence from the same Roman order. • Today – Nearly every major world religion has been touched by Constantine’s creed, yet the covenant of Yahuah was never part of it.
