You’re not a mother. That’s a huge part of this. Before becoming a mother I was pro vaccine. Then when you become pregnant, you get this innate sense of protection that makes you research more than you ever have in your life only to come to learn that no— the benefits do not outweigh the risks. At all. There’s also something called a mother’s intuition & I believe it should be trusted fully. Do what you feel is best for your child. Period.

not anti-vax but i would like to see more longitudinal data as well as looking at the entire schedule as a whole not just single vax and exploration into more epigenetic factors. Especially when we are giving so many so fast on the current schedule. I don't think it should be a one size fits all, if epigenetic predisposition puts someone at higher risk for an autoimmune disease or neurological impairment they should be allowed to consider alternate routes without condemnation. Parents should be allowed to explore more extensive genetic testing and have more open conversations about those concerns with doctors without bias or being automatically dismissed as anti-vax. There are a whole lot of other factors I could talk about but I would be talking for days. I don't think either side of the argument necessarily has it right, science is always evolving, asking questions is ok, we have lost the art of nuance as a society. -a bio/immunology girly before my SAHM days

It circulated that vaccines could potentially be the reason we have a spike in autism cases. Not sure if it’s true, with the heavy metals being present in vaccines and having 24+ shots in the first year of life, it makes you wonder. My eldest is autistic and I’ve always blamed myself for it, but she is perfect🩷

The cdc and fda also hide studies about the negative impacts of vaccine and use fear tactics to guilt new tired moms into vaccinating. And i have an NP degree and a doctorate. So, i can tell you all I had was a 2 hour lecture on vaccines. 😬

As someone that has a degree specializing in immunology, virology, immune hematology, clinical chemistry etc I have tried to have civil conversations on the mechanism of vaccines and our immune system and people just don’t want to hear it 🥺

I hit them with “chemicals are things made up of more than one element” and the tell them that water is a chemical, and so is blood, and technically oxygen. Is that correct? Probably not I’m not a scientist. But it works

Vaccine injury court pays out millions per year for vaccine injured people and I’m one of them. The spinal meningitis vaccine made me lose all muscular control in my body. I regained function within 24 hours but now struggle with many autoimmune conditions and feel like my life is over at 28 years old. Please google MTHFR gene mutations, vaccines should not be one size fits all just like any other medical procedure or medication. I was also in the medical field but left because I realized how many lies were being told. I hope everyone makes the best choices for them. read the vaccine inserts and they are also online as well where you can report any side effects

My daughter was on a delayed schedule after a severe reaction at 4mos. I still vaccinate. We just did one at a time. She’s now 5 and is up to date on all vaccines. I couldn’t imagine not protecting her and others.

I wish more people would realize we don’t just wake up & say “eh, I think today’s a good day to go antivxxx” No one thinks vaxx injuries can happen to them until it does. My oldest baby had zero problems, but my youngest had seizures back to back for days with no prior history. It could have been a lot worse even though that alone was horrific. As a mother, that risk is not worth it. Either way you look at it, pro vax or not, there’s risks both ways and we’re just over here trying to do the best we can by our children. The hate on anti moms is unbelievably sad. It’s not an easy choice for some of us

They’ve never done a study on the combined 20+ vaccines these kids are being recommended to receive. It’s always an individual study. A great start but there’s a hole in the research
