I believe it’s a sin. People say that you can do it in increments, but the Bible says you are to be sober minded. Just because you aren’t drunk doesn’t mean you’re sober. Keep a clear head for Jesus guys!

Jesus, who is God in the flesh turned water into wine and served it to people for them to drink. If drinking wine is a sin why would God, who detests sin, make His creation sin right infront of His eyes and by His hands? The bible does not state that drinking is a sin. However, it is adviced to not get drunk because it leads to destruction. + I don’t have the exact verses but somewhere in Isaiah God said woe to those who stay up drinking wine at night and those who are experts at mixing drinks. In 1 Corinthians it says that the drunkards will not enter Heaven.

I don't think it's a sin, but if you can't control yourself when you drink you probably shouldn't drink. Then you may fall into sin.

I believe it can be a sin, im not trying to cherry pick at all but i just am curious with my own answer! Like, i think Jesus drunk, but he wasn’t a drunken man who let it take control and let the “evil thoughts” overtake him am I correct? So I think drunkenness/gluttony within that is a sin, addiction to drinking is a sin, but having one with friends shouldn’t be an issue MAYBE IM WRONG IM SCARED idk?!!?

Drunkenness is a sin, in Catholic Churches the Eucharist is a sacrament and wine represents jesus’s blood so no I don’t think so

Drinking is not a sin as Jesus states multiple times in the Bible he has given us wine to consume but man who indulges himself in wine is a man who indulges in sin basically being a drunk is a sin but enjoying a glass is fine

I feel like thats a rough question cause back in the day wine used to be viewed as good for you in moderation but now more studies are being done indicating its not good for you

drinking isn’t, but getting drunk is. but the bible says your body is a temple and you should take care of it meaning if something is able to harm your body from the inside out then you maybe shouldn’t do it
