It’s not being dramatic. I literally went and had a neurological work up because I thought I was developing early onset dementia. Turns out it was a post traumatic response that my brain got used to, to protect itself. I have started writing more and more things down. Forgetting my family and my beautiful life is the biggest fear I have. Hugs

I came across your videos and I can say I felt so much better knowing I’m not the only one who thinks exactly like you I smile but yet they make me sad to, because I do feel broken and I feel like my family doesn’t understand how hard it is. I literally forget things all the time. …it’s sucks. 😢

Or when people remember things from my childhood and tell me the story and I have zero recollection. Once, sure, twice, probably, more than 20x 🤷🏼♀️did I really have a childhood?

My ex husband told me all the time that I forget things because I just don’t care. I tried so hard I would make list, set alarms on my phone.I just couldn’t understand why I can’t be a normal person like everyone else.

I do everything i can to get out of my head! Sone days I feel like I'm spinning none stop! I forget everything! Even talking and mid sentence can't remember what I was talking about. I have an amazing husband who knows these things about me and helps best he can. There are times I'm an emotional wreck over nothing! It's honestly exhausting.

Girl its okay, I am ADHD and my memory is so bad I'm constantly loosing things in a space of 5 minutes and I cannot remember at all. My short term memory is really getting worse and my long term is mostly blanks. I hate it so much because it makes it impossible to remember anything. I just lost my new ID card after a week of having it and I'm so upset about it but I can't remember where I put it. I feel your struggles

As a woman who’s turning 49 in October and has been dealing with ADHD before the doctors even had a name for it, I’m suffering from this now more than ever being in perimenopause. I feel your pain, sister. 🤍😔
