Isn't buyback an ability that would not be affected by regular cost reducers such as goblin electromancer, other than memory crystal? I taking Overload into mind as I ask this question, since overload is an ability that is not reduced by cost reducers.

You could have Magnus the Red as a commander ensure you have 4 creature tokens in play (magnus does make these) then Electro then have 1 red mana and cast searing touch. congrats, you now have that 4 mana discount to be able to repeat and have infinite storm count

electro and Vivi with all the 1-2 mana cantrips. vivi will be doing the damage till you find a fling spell to throw Electro and put the mana into his leave ability

Roaming throne would be a third copy of the effect btw. and storm kiln artist makes treasure. if in blue, there is a lot of other copies of the effects.

Braids of Fire enchantment, I pair it with my Leyline Tyrant in my Ziatora deck. Get it out early and everyone finds it non-threatening cause the mana is gone immediately, then he comes out and suddenly I hold a shitload of mana every turn.

there's a goblin in the stella lee precon that makes a treasure on cast/copy of instant/sorceries. I like to play it with Veyran, Voice of Duality, then it goes near-infinite but always mana positive with Otter Ral Ult

I have a commander deck that runs searing touch for this combo. Its Vadrik Astral Archmage. Get his power to the buyback cost and have electro or bergi. Cast touch, buy back is free since its reduced by Vandriks power. Cast again with the red mana produced. Boom infinite damage.
