Ummmm…what?!?! We can place a fecal management system on my surgical unit. I’d rather not….but also can not imagine needing to wait for an ICU RN to place it 😩

I’ve never even asked if I a medsurg nurse could put one in. I just do it. If you can do a foley you can place a rectal tube!
