You keep abandoning yourself quietly because everyone around you calls it responsibility. I did that for years. Until I became a mother and realised I was building a life I barely had the energy to be present for. Always tired. Always recovering. Always waiting for work to stop consuming so much of me. There’s a theory that people need evidence before they believe another life is possible. Not motivation. Not advice. Evidence. A woman who chooses differently. A woman who steps outside the path she was handed. A woman who realises her skills, intelligence and worth are not confined to one profession. Someone once said: “Be the reason why other women think they can do it too.” And I think that’s what representation really is. Not perfection. Not rebellion. Just one woman quietly refusing to spend her entire life surviving inside a version of success that no longer feels like hers. And that is simply why I choose to share what I’ve built outside the th traditional route of nursing. Ready to build an income outside healthcare too?
