@notenoughspacetalk: Join renowned physicist Brian Cox as he unravels one of the most mind-bending ideas in modern physics: that spacetime itself may not be fundamental. In this captivating talk, Brian explains how the fabric of space and time — which we usually think of as the stage on which the universe plays out — might actually emerge from something deeper: quantum entanglement. He explores how cutting-edge research suggests that the connections between entangled particles could weave together the geometry of spacetime itself, challenging our most basic assumptions about reality. With his trademark clarity and wonder, Brian makes this radical concept both accessible and awe-inspiring. #BrianCox #Spacetime #QuantumEntanglement #Physics #ScienceExploration
Sometimes the most simplest explanation is the most reasonably or rational. One time is a man-made concept doesn’t really exist. All we are is in a present moment. Can’t go back in time. Can’t go ahead in time time definitely has its necessities for scheduled keeping track recording but as far as the universe is concerned, there is no timeif you were to take me from earth and somehow instantaneously send me across the universe millions of light years away, it would still be the same time there as it is here

Does this man have national treasure status yet. Cos frankly he should. He explains the most complex things in ways that everyone can understand and that is a rare talent. He also makes it interesting which is a rarer talent still.

what if time is the force or glue that creates the linear existence we are living in, without time life becomes an illusion of infinite possibilities, define only by our choices. our consciousness becomes part of the driving force of time to allow existence to be observed in a linear fashion.?

Spacetime is OBVIOUSLY emergent from the fields. That is what expanded and is the scaffolding that holds everything. I’d guess the expansion also causes the fields to weaken. Probably will go POOF!when stretched too far

let’s just hope no one finds out how to make space-time. Because once you understand the quantum processes that lead to it, never say never…. 😮

time is temporal or material, but space is not. space and time are opposites. space is indeed fundamental. when you physically perceive objects, you do not physically perceive the spatial separation between objects. when you remove the spatial separation between objects, the objects disappear. the objects that are temporal (appear in time) are dependent on space for their "existence." however, space is not dependent on objects. therefore, space is fundamental, but what is temporal (objects and time) are not.

current models are wrong.
relativity does not go far enough: mass does not distort spacetime, but
mass IS spacetime.
space and time are fractal. the universe is fractal, and evolving fractally.
there was no Big Bang, there is no dark matter, no dark energy, no singularities.
for a different model, see Tiktok @wim2338.
