How do people decide surgery vs continuing with pt? PTs say I’ll get better with more PT and surgeons say to do surgery but it’s not guaranteed you’ll be better from it. Have also been told pain could be from femoral nerve issues

Do you find it comfortable to wear the waist of the brace that high? I lowered it because it was causing lower back pain but I’m not 100% sure on fit (my doctors office hadn’t fitted many of these)

I just tore my labrum in my shoulder from a freaking compound bow! 😭Praying physical therapy fixes it instead of having surgery in 6 weeks. I’m prayin for your healing!

I had a spinal fusion that changed my life, it stole 5 years from me. Just started therapy for the trauma it caused. You need a lot of emotional support from your family and friends, let them in to support you and do for you, you’re worth their care

My left hip has a torn labrum and cam joint deformity and my right had a torn labrum and bone spur and I’m two days post op and it is so hard. Not being able to get out of bed on your own is a humbling experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

I made the surgeon be honest with me about my healing time, my tear is so so bad he told me I will be out of work 8 months. I have an extremely physically demanding job. I just want to be out of pain already. looking forward to being on crutches because then there will be an ending to the pain. right now it's just never ending and it's killing me. I meet the new surgeon in November

Hang in there 💪 not many of us can say we’ve had to learn how to walk again in our 20’s. Any hip surgery is a hard recovery, but it’s worth it 🙏

Just had mine done last Friday. Recovery hasn’t been great but it’s not been terrible. The long road of recovery and the easy chance of retearing has me worried!
