Never had a sleepover…missed on so many birthday parties cause she thought they were dangerous (trampoline park). 21 now..? And she’s looking at me like me shopping in the men’s section is taboo. I’m getting tattoos and piercings. I’ll make sure of it.

my mum was exactly like this with me, always worried about some boogeyman trying to hurt me except if me going out alone benefited her cos she couldn’t be bothered to drive me somewhere. got sa’ed by someone IN MY FAM NOT A STRANGER and this protective mother act fell. never defended me not one bit and is still hanging around with him. she also complains about me not being out going when she shielded me my whole life and purposely made my anxiety + ptsd worse. i loath her sometimes
