2 conductors together equals 3 gauges down exactly so 2 14 gauge = 11 gauge. No you can’t run 900amps thru that cable regardless of the length.

I work in a battery test lab, all our high voltage cable is 3/0 minimum, its 85mm2, and we still pump enough current to get it to jump sometimes

Boat wiring is usually tinned copper to help against corrosion, makes a huge difference in the long run. Ancor is the go to brand.

Friendly boat tip (unless you plan on selling the boat lol). Tinned copper should be used for boat wiring. The standard copper will corrode and in a couple years you’ll be chasing electrical issues.
