love that the dads immediate reaction was to send the mom to her parents and stook up for his daughter. Him eliminating her access to their daughter was a good move. Her loving up on her daughter right after what she did is truly unacceptable.

Maybe that’s why Owen is upset with Lauryn. Her reaction made it look like she knew it was her mom the whole time. I was expecting her to push her mom away once she tried to comfort her but I also understand everyone responds to situations like this differently.
