I acknowledge that things have gotten a lot harder, but I also think it is about sacrifice and priorities. We are blessed to have live in a 1st world country still. Living here is much much better than other countries still and even relying on government funds you can still live comfortably enough. I do agree that if you’re struggling, you do need to move further away to lessen your expenses. I know it’s not an easy decision but I do agree it’s life.

A lot of the time it's a luxury crisis with people thinking luxurious things are the minimum standard. look at what women are spending on fashion and beauty.

Cost of living crisis is real, but not for everyone that talks about it. I recently sat in a meeting with people who earn a good income who were complaining about how tough it was and all of the cost of living pressures. The next topic they discussed was where each of the 10 of them were going on their next leave break. 9/10 were booked to go overseas. Amazing holidays, plenty of cash to be spent.
