As the teacher, I had to stop buying snacks for kids who need them, bc as soon as kids know there are snacks in the room they all stop bringing their own..I can buy enough to feed a few kids in need, but not for 24 kids who decide they like mine better….

i found out one of my sons friends was doing this for him last week because money is tight right now after merging families and paying for 3 houses (my husband is in process of selling 2 houses in Ohio, so we have electric and insurance for 3 houses and its killing us in this temporary season) but I was so touched by my son's friend for doing that for him! Thank you for helping out those babies, it takes a village!

you know you raised him right!! 👏 my daughter will ask for extra dollar on Fridays to get her and 1 friend ice cream. she chooses 1 friend a week. penny shopping also has turned into taking stuff to the blessing box she loves doing. makes my heart so happy seeing children do this!! 🥹
