@maltemarten: The reason why I play handpan. Would love to hear yours, too 🤍 Since always handpan playing has been so much more than just achieving new skills. From the very first moment that I heard a handpan it created such a depth & peace within my soul. And this never changed. But still - when I play concerts, often at some point there are thoughts lingering in my mind. „Is my music good enough“, „do people enjoy it“. After hundreds of concerts, thousands of hours of playing handpan, those thoughts are still present from time to time. Every time I encounter those thoughts, I listen to them, I give them as much space as possible and surrender to them. And what happens is pure expression on my handpan. Just „playing it all out“. The handpan is such a great tool to express ourselves, to connect to music and creativity in a very simple and pure way.
