@byjacklynn: Exploring Catacomb 10 at St. Paul’s Catacombs - one of the Jewish catacombs in Rabat! Walking through these underground chambers, carved straight into the rock centuries ago, you can almost feel the lives and stories of the people who were laid to rest here. What’s incredible about St. Paul’s is that it wasn’t just for one community — pagans, Christians, and Jews all shared these spaces, side by side. In Catacomb 10, you can even spot Jewish symbols like menorahs etched into the walls. What stood out to me the most in this particular catacomb was the stone door, an absolute impressive example of stonemasonry from over a millennium ago! Exploring it, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of awe and reflection, so much history hidden beneath the streets of Rabat, and yet it feels alive as you move through it. #historytok #maltahistory #ancienthistory #catacombs
