It’s a matter of what will *YOU* allow in your birth space? • The goal is respectful discussion with your provider about the risks, benefits, pros vs cons and any alternatives available to you about the decision at hand. This conversation should be transparent and as unbiased as possible. At the end of the discussion, you should have (and feel) freedom to accept or decline the clinical recommendation. If you decline, your provider has an ethical, moral and legal obligation to continue delivering compassionate, respectful, and safe care. • YOURE the boss of your birth space!
