I used to be a motorcycle technician and we had a massive ultrasonic cleaner that you could drop a whole engine into and it was amazing. I’d bring stuff from home and just drop it in there for a while and be good as new

Mbe some water in the motor after the wash down... I would suggest washing down before taking carb off

Check the clutch cable bit because in my pitbike the bit kept getting stuck so it had almost no compression
