@letstalkbabywearing: *repost Do woven wraps really take that much longer than an SSC? Well, yes and no. The truth is, woven wraps have a longer learning curve for most people. They can be a little harder to get the basics down with. However, they can take about the same amount of time from start to finish when you're proficient with both. A woven wrap will allow for much more variety of carries, but can also be a little more of a pain when your child wants up and down, especially in yucky weather. It's harder to not have it drag on the ground when tying, so it's not always my go to for those days the kids will be up and down. I did try to make this as fair as possible at well- Superman toss to get baby into position, which isn't how most people do it, especially with an SSC. I also made an effort to just take my time and not rush with either. Both could be done faster or slower depending on your skill level. These both have not been edited at all for speed. My point with this video is that one isn't inherently more complicated once you get them down or a terrible option. And just because something is the best option for you, doesn't it is for everyone else! Both have their benefits! And most of the adjusting here is done with baby on you already, sometimes picking them up quickly is the main goal lol

if nothing else the child is contained faster. I was a runner as a kid so big concern for when/if I have kids

how do you deal with the wrap touching the floor in order to be put on? most of the time it doesn't bother me because I do it at home or grass, but I'm thinking it can be gross in certain scenarios

do you ever crisscross in the front? I feel like the shoulder straps would be falling off of me.

I would personally prefer the wrap you never know if a strap is gonna loosen or break the fabric I'd more sturdy and probably more reliable

since watching you on here and YouTube people are shocked at how quick I can get my 1 yr old on my back with my wrap. 🖤🖤🖤🖤 thank you for this skill! it also had me thinking about emergency having to run with her, def feels comfy and secure more so than my old carriers

I love my ring sling for my newborn. MUCH more convenient and comfortable than a strap based carrier or a stroller.

Idk our baby carrier was super easy to throw the baby in and then sling on. Still used a wrap sometimes but that was definitely slower

The best thing I had was Wompat Wrap Tai from Liinalapsi. I just wasn't able to do that with just a wrap so this half wrap was gold. And we have had all kinds of carries during the years. The wraps had the best ones
