@_jacobking: Caramelised onion butter beans 🧅 written recipe below 👇🏾 When it comes to the most comforting meals, it has to be simple and satisfying 🤝 well this dish starts with jammy, caramelised onion which deepens the flavours soaked up by the butter beans 😋 👇🏾ingredients👇🏾 -few tbsp olive oil -4 garlic cloves -2 large white onion -handful button mushrooms -vegetable stock -big bunch fresh parsley -4 tbsp nutritional yeast (or cheese) -splash of soy cream -1 jar large butter beans -salt n pepper to taste -garnish with cream, oils, crispy onions and more parsley 👇🏾method👇🏾 -fry the thinly sliced onion, low and slow until golden and caramelised. -add the finely minced garlic and mushrooms then sear until they soften and brown slightly. -add the stock, nutritional yeast, parsley and beans with salt n pepper then simmer to reduce.
