We haven’t i would say “lost” any war or conflict we’ve been in since WW2. We’ve only “lost” in a sense of a political failure and tax payer waste of money but when you count body for body, it’s no contest in that.

The U.S. spent trillions of dollars on OEF and killed tens of thousands of innocent civilians and thousands of American soldiers were KIA. And all for the Taliban to be back in power. The U.S. lost in Afghanistan and spent 20 years there so that private military contractors could make money.
