In all fairness, the seasons Liverpool and city won the league, they didn’t play well at the emirates either, but nonetheless they got results, I remember when Gabriel got sent off, the most dominant city was simply surviving in that match, same to Liverpool when firminho scored against the run of play, you could argue that arsenal was on the front foot, so as for me I’ll back Arteta to do what he needs to do to win, there’s no trophy in bitting the big 6 then loosing to Fulham and Southampton, at this point arsenal should focus on points at all cost

I argue the change in football overall was for the better especially shown in the 2nd half of 23/24. You guys had a serious ruthlessness about you (17 wins 1 draw 1 loss) emptying stadiums before halftime and picking up 89 points which should normally be enough to win the league. Last season was a real regression tho, it seems like arteta has lost his ways of 23/24 in finding a balance between pragmatism and expansion. Could put that down to underperformance of Ødegaard/injury to Saka but yh.

Guys DONT understand that Mikel has always been defence first. Even when he first came to Arsenal he was doing 5 atb. He’s never been all guns blazing. That 22/23 season he wasn’t going away to big grounds doing attacking football
