My best advice would be to remember that it was filmed in the 2000s, so the acting and general filming is very different from current shows. I believe it gets better but it will always be a bit cringe. Also Nina gets on my nerves

The beginning seasons are not that good but season two is when I started getting into it. Honestly when the Mikaelsons leave the show it gets repetitive but that’s when you start watching the originals. Better acting and storyline in my opinion
