@Amina_noor I was born 1992 in Germany. A small village with 700 inhabitants. I used to live with my grandmother since birth because my mother wasn’t ready to have a baby. My granny used to work a lot, that’s why she searched a good family which took care for me at day after kindergarten. They were Muslims. They taught me the first things about Islam. I went to school, I learned a job. I forgot everything about Islam. Last year I started to read the Quran. I wanted something to believe in. My family is Catholic. My uncle is a bishop in Brazil and used to work for pope johannes Paul the 2nd. So I guess you can see HOW Catholic my family is. But Christianity was never a thing for me. But after I started to read the Quran, I had a dream at night. I can’t remember exactly, I just know, I thought something is in my room, something bad. Watching me. I woke up and still got that feeling. I was so scared. So I started listening to the Quran. I felt better immediately. And I never had that dream again, like the bad thing just disappeared. That was the moment, when I decided to revert. So I tried to explain this to my family. My grandma stopped eating for over a week. My friends told me, we are ok, if you don’t wear the hijab. My family ignored my wishes. And when I try to explain myself they don’t listen to me. A few friends are helping me a lot. But yesterday I got a massage from my grandma where she told me- she’s searching for sausages out of chicken. So I think she’s starting to accepting. Slowly. But I will give them all the time they need. I’m happy now. Alhamdullilah.
