I never had any transmission problems but I let my transmission fluid go literally a few cm lower than the full level and as I was driving my car it just locked up and stopped going so I put my car in neutral and as I was pushing it I heard the transmission make a popping/cluncking noise , no check lights popped up on the dashboard and the transmission never started leaking and didn’t smell burnt so I checked the fluid it was still good but a little low so I added transmission fluid and i made it home perfectly fine this was a week ago I haven’t drove it because I’m not sure if it’s safe to drive and I don’t want to cause further damage. any recommendations or advice ?
