I will tell you why. Because summer is hard enough on them. They don't need to hang out during the winter when it takes like an hour to put up and take it down.

I take mine down every year take me an hour, and it lasts a lot longer harsh winter tear down the plastic

I left mine up for 2 winters, I opened it up in the spring and a couple days later, it split open. Winter is too hard on them
