You lost me at the zipper merge. If the lane was intended to end earlier, they’d close the lane earlier. Zipper merges only don’t work when people don’t leave space to merge at the end.

#4 you need to use both lanes until the end then do a zipper merge. it makes traffic much faster

Cars on highway have to show some courtesy to cars merging on. Move to the left

#4 actually technically creates more traffic. yes, since no one here knows how to merge properly, it doesn’t really matter, but zipper merge is ideal. not enough people know or follow that for it to be helpful though

i think it can be tied into the first one, but people need to leaen that the on ramp is to get up to speed there is no reason you need to be entering the highway at 45 MPH then speesing up to 65-70 MPH

I couldn’t care less about people behind me because I’m following the speed limit. If something bad happens, I’m liable for speeding. Just leave earlier.

The lane closures one is a "zipper" to the end. Keeps traffic going, but I agree with everything else

Everything u r saying is true, I had people merge in front of me and stop withougjt sledding up to keep up with traffic and I had to slam on my brakes don’t get in front of me and stop, keep it moving

Slow vehicles on two lane roads in Washington are required to use the slow vehicle turnout. Also, zipper merging is a thing.

Nah, you had me until you threw the Zipper Merge under the bus. Stay in your lane, then filter every other at the point of merger.
