Creating ur own flashcards and quizlet will always be #1 for me. And study them WHILE ur making it. Never fails for me. Time consuming? Yes, but quicker retention… trust.

i think there was actually a study done to show that writing down notes instead of typing or just remembering showed the best results, but to each their own ofc!

the reason i have a 4.0 as a rising senior is entirely because i write every single thing down i hear in class in my google docs notes, and arrive to class with detailed notes from the readings (with page numbers) on the same doc per class😐 yall can like paper notes all you like, but you won’t end up writing down enough information because it takes longer, and plus you can’t command+f a peice of paper

i do paper notes for my stem classes and online notes for history and other subjects. subjects i beed diagrans and formulas are always on paper. i use gizmo.ai for active recall quizes and quizlet for flashcards. i make a study guide of all my notes in chatgpt then i read rhrough it and write down everything i remember on paper. i use a specfic playlist of piano music every time so my brain automatically locks in. and for some classes i listen to the lectures and only write down main ideas on google docs then i go home and reteach myself the lecture and write notes at home on paper
