As a kid growing up here the street lights were so bright that you can definitely walk outside. nowadays its so dark that you dont know who might approach you at all.

I am the woman in the end of the video. Yes, I was going to buy pepper spray. I walked these beautiful Cerritos parks every day and I do believe it is a safe place to be. I’ve been here 68 years. I watched Cerritos grow. In the 1950s, what is now the city of Cerritos was known as Dairy Valley. On Bloomfield, we had the biggest chicken farms we had lots of cattle and horse wrenches so believe me it’s still a safe place to be. He just got always remember. Be aware of your surroundings no matter where you are and stay safe.🙏

It's not quiet there when me and my daughter were homeless we parked at the Target, there would be a lot happening there , before there we slept at Walmart till a shooting there

It’s a bad thing 😩😩😩 yeah a teen boy and a man are dead I’d say it’s bad thing !!! There were two mamas who had to get a call that their sons are gone 😩 yall scared during daylight this was late night ! How about have some compassion for these families !!!! Rest in peace Cheo ! 😩 Life isn’t fair ! He had so much more life to give ! He was gonna graduate 😩he was gonna one day have a family and now he’s been robbed

This park is not quiet anymore .on weekend get very loud with music and cars speeding at the parking lot .i don’t like to go on weekends no more ,will just go on weekdays …MAYBE …feeling unsafe now

The sherrifs station is just up the street, they used to drive into the park at 10 and kick everyone out before the lights went off, I guess that’s not the case anymore

Unfortunately it’s most likely activity that is coming from the outside cities. Cities need more police patrolling to keep our communities safe.
