Dua anggota DPR RI dari Fraksi Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN), Eko Hendro Purnomo atau Eko Patrio, dan Surya Utama atau Uya Kuya, resmi mengundurkan diri sebagai anggota dewan. Keputusan itu diumumkan DPP PAN di Jakarta, Minggu (31/8/2025), sebagai langkah meredam situasi yang kian memanas di tengah masyarakat. Sehari sebelumnya, Eko Patrio telah menyampaikan permintaan maaf melalui akun Instagram pribadinya. Dalam video tersebut, ia didampingi oleh sesama anggota DPR dari PAN, Sigit Purnomo atau Pasha Ungu.
Dua anggota DPR RI dari Fraksi Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN), Eko Hendro Purnomo atau Eko Patrio, dan Surya Utama atau Uya Kuya, resmi mengundurkan diri sebagai anggota dewan. "Dengan penuh kerendahan hati, saya Eko Patrio, menyampaikan permohonan maaf sedalam-dalamnya kepada masyarakat atas keresahan yang timbul akibat perbuatan yang saya lakukan," ucap Eko. Uya Kuya juga melakukan hal serupa. Ia mengunggah video permintaan maaf pada Sabtu (30/8/2025), menanggapi sorotan publik atas aksinya berjoget di Gedung DPR RI setelah pengumuman kenaikan gaji dan tunjangan anggota dewan. "Saya Uya Kuya menyampaikan permohonan maaf yang sebesar-besarnya, tulus dari hati saya yang paling dalam untuk seluruh masyarakat Indonesia atas apa yang terjadi beberapa hari terakhir ini," kata Uya.
