Damn. My family frequents a local pizza joint for over 30 years. They all know us, we know them. Never once have we asked for a discount! Great food, great service, here's a minimum 20% tip.

My husband goes to a local restaurant for lunch every day, they know his name and order he goes there so much. Never would he dream of getting a discount just for showing up. I don’t understand that at all…..

The ONLY time I EVER asked for a discount was me, fresh out of the hospital after a seizure, in bed for 14 days. Called the place that’s down the street that KNOWS MY ORDER, and explained where I had been. And I got my $20 order for $10 . Only time. And GOD BLESS THEM. Because they did it and delivered it ❤️😇
