@markwilmson: HERE’S A RULE I WANT YOU TO REMEMBER…ALWAYS INTERVIEW FOR A YES! #jobinterview #jobinterviewadvice #jobinterviewtips #jobinterviewquestions
I once asked for interview to end. The hiring manager was rude. 🤔

I love this, today I interviewed for a maybe. Even though I knew I could not take on the role due to commute I showed up and waited for them to realise cause I wanted to know how much the role was offering so I can see if I could afford the commute. I eventually I asked them weather a remote setup could be negotiated. The manager was open to seeing if it's possible. So I agree.

I prefer not to waste my time and immediately stop the interview process. saves both of you the time and effort.

And the thing is, you can always say yes to the offer and accept the job. You can always decide in the future if you're prepared to accept certain conditions or requirements.

Is there a follow up with your recommendations to these specific questions to help your subscribers? My concern is ppl agreeing in the interview and trying to unwind it during salary negotiations could be problematic

sadly I blew it by saying I’m shy but will get into it when they asked me if I’m okay to train 15 people at once

Love your content. I’d really appreciate some advice and guidance for preparing for a 30 minute first stage interview as these seem to vary significantly in style and format which often catches me off guard meaning I don’t get invited back for the second stage or get to offer stage. They’re less formal and there’s limited time to make an impact and it doesn’t feel like the time or place to launch into STAR style responses or delve into too much detail, but I’ve not mastered the formula and need some help to make it through to second stage interviews and secure an offer 🤩

IDK… I’m not sure that lands well with me. I think once u get the offer, u could negotiate—-telework a few days a week after a certain timeframe, travel as long as it’s not more than___ overnights.
