When I was like 8, we had a black lab. We couldn’t keep him because we were moving. My dad took me with him to dump the dog behind a store and leave him. He would not get out of the car. He made me push the dog out. And when I looked back, he was running after the car. Full sprint running after us, I cried in the backseat.. I am 32 and it still haunts me. I could never do that to an animal. It still hurts to this day. His name was stormy. I am sorry stormy.

this is the only movie moment that ever made me cry. I didn't understand as a kid why she just left him and just wondered how absolutely terrified and betrayed he felt. Animals are better than people, they can truly love and care unconditionally
