True. But it depends on your environment. If your childhood was obviously comfortable it’s 18. If your childhood was ‘where the red fern grows’ + ‘A child called It’ you get until 45 years.

I want to agree so bad, but after 3 years of cancer treatment and being 44 (I should be dead), I can say that sometimes you just do stuff and don't have any conscious understanding of why - age is just a number.

I disagree, when confronted with certain situations we will slip into those ruts. It is an involuntary reaction. When we are not, we are choosing to fight to not be that person. Also when you become older or have other issues like brain trauma, those things surface more.
