@halalwho: never in my life did I care if someone wants to wear a hijab, niqab or not wear it at all... it's your choice but what I will never understand is how hard it is to simply stand with a woman who is being forced to cover instead of turning the whole thing into "but I love my hijab it gives me freedom" like good for you?? nobody is saying you can't love it but when you do that you erase the struggle of women who don't have a choice and that is the real problem, freedom only matters when it exists for everyone not just when it matches your personal choice it's like saying "I love my family so how can anyone h8 theirs" that makes no sense because your reality isn't everyone's reality what's even sadder is how quick they're to silence other women just because the truth makes their religi0n or culture look bad, hijab whether you see it as obligation or choice only means something if every woman has the power to decide for herself until then it's not about faith it's about control and no woman should ever be sham£d, attack£d or dismissed for demanding that basic freedom
