We're just absurdly risk adverse as a people. No one else accomplished this with general strikes. Everyone else did it through economic empowerment via foreign economies (ie Little Italy or Chinatown) we have the ability to do that with Africa but, most of us are just too scared/risk adverse 🤷🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️

This is why we ✨have✨ to build support networks so we can support each other! Like if I have seven in my network, we got someone to help with food, watch kids, multiple people step out the job ect ect. It’s going to be a huge struggle but if we do it ✨together✨ we can lighten the load ✨together✨! I believe in us!

I know it runs the risk of complacency compromising commitment.. but to reference your example: why uproot and potentially go through a drought from the root shock, when you can propagate and plant new trees from the efforts of the original
