I tried the demo. 20 minutes in they flashed the message about “no quest markers because this ain’t your grandmas souls like” like 4 times and I found in universe notes making fun of accessibility based mechanics. Uninstalled. Don’t like that energy.

the game would be good if it gave you the ability to make paths or mark trees or even make a map if it doesn't then it is just going to be annoying to find your way around the map

Did we forget why things like quest markers or logs exist? They were invented because players got lost and/ or oberwhelmed without them. This is just going back on the fundamentals of game design. Hard pass.

Dude I'm a mom. I don't get just me time. I'm always being interrupted by my kid (whom I love) but I could miss something important because he needs help with something and then having no quest marker I'm SOL. I'm glad this game exists for people who want to play it but it's not realistically doable for everyone

I can pay attention just fine. I have dyspraxia which makes my ability to mentally visualise space and shape poor and there is nothing I can do. I cannot get better. I need help and maps and quest logs/markers provide that.
