Sadly, I don’t think so. I have people at work who still love Reagen 🥺

Yeah, right after liberals admit that he wasn't as bad as they made him out to be. The Trump "worship" is just as much a reaction to the overly negative view of Trump as anything else. Which reinforces liberal viewpoints and makes it a cycle. The cycle can't break if both sides see each other's standard bearers as evil, it only breaks when they see the other side as just misguided or wrong.

I see them being in denial and doubling down on conspiracies that he isn’t actually dead.

No. They'll worship him even harder. People tend to forget the transgressions of the dead.

I think many of them will try to minimize how much they supported him over the coming years.

There’s a house around the corner from me that used to fly, no joke, at least six trump flags in their yard. They’ve disappeared over the last few months. The flags, not the occupants.

There’s still people in my hometown that have “trump 2016” and “trump 2020” flags flying and the worst part is they look new

Trump March will be (is being) taken down, bagged up, and (mostly) thrown away in as much secret as can be managed. They will then never bring it up again, and get realquiet if someone else does. Especially if the person bringing it up mentions that the ex-Trumper was a Trumper.

I'm genuinely concerned that "the event" will cauterize his fan base, and they will then deify him as some sort of martyr. I foresee MAGA flags next to confederate flags for decades to come and I hate it.

No. Some will exit soon after to reunite with their Leader. Others will claim he’s still around like Elvis. Then those who claim they were never about that life. But plenty of those who will continue to make him their identity.

I just worry that we’re going to get some sort of deification like with Kim il-sung. They willingly treat him like a North Korean dictator already, so some of them are naturally gonna gravitate towards that.
