i think that has a lot to do with the shape of your straightener, mine isn’t round more like square and this does not work😭

This is the only way I've ever done it - it's like slicing ribbon at an angle so it curls.

Si es real, yo me plancho asi mismo cuando quiero hacerme ondas y me quedan super bonitas, a lo mejor no servira esta tecnica para todos los tipos de pelos, pero existen miles mas y ojala puedan encontrar una que si les quede☺️
