@wildlife_rescuers: The video shows a crocodile nearly catching a turtle, but the turtle manages to slip free and run as fast as it can to escape. Although it wasn’t particularly quick, its effort and timing allowed it to get away safely. In general, turtle speed varies by species. Some, like softshell turtles, can move surprisingly fast on land, while others are much slower and rely more on their shell for protection than on speed.
